I have to have 13 fillings and my 4 wisdom teeth removed. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate going to the dentist at all.. (Hence the 13 fillings I now need to have) But Canfield Dental Care makes it almost worry free because the whole staff is so sweet and so professional, Dr. Canfield and his dental assistant Erica always make sure I'm comfortable and in little to no pain at all and they make going to the dentist not so bad! When my wisdom teeth were removed I had no pain at all while they were being removed and no pain at all in my recovery besides some jaw pain from having my mouth open so long while getting all of those fillings! Now I just have 2 more wisdom teeth to remove and 6 more fillings, and I'm hardly nervous at all anymore!
Like most people, the dentist is my least favorite place. When I originally called to tell them my issue (lost filling) the receptionist answering the phone wanted no part in listening to my genuine concern for making sure they read my file and getting a game plan in order before setting the appointment. Her response “let me have someone call you with a better idea than that” whatever that meant but ok! Never got that phone call. I have called TWICE since then to have Dr Canfield call me before my appointment and I have NEVER gotten a call. Not only am I cancelling my appointment I am taking my business elsewhere. Seeing that I have a debilitating disease in my face known as the “suicide disease” and need a little extra care from dentists such as a game plan on how to limit the shocks in my face when they are in there drilling and I can’t even get a phone call! Thanks but no thanks.
I called with an emergency and they got me in within the hour! By far the best dentist I have been to and I will definitely recommend them. I was a horrible nervous wreck and they had patience with me and were very kind. Thank you guys!
