Great selection and helpful staff. Prices are a tad higher than other places, but its worth a few extra bucks to support a great local business. I've been greeted with courtesy and respect every time I come here.
Although not as large as a Home Depot / Lowe's chain stores they carry a large assortment of items that are needed to fix most household items. And being the big stores are 20+ miles away, this makes Builder's a very nice close-by alternative, even if some of the prices are slightly higher.
Prices are kind of on the high side but it is the only place in Shelbyville to purchase most Hardware or lumber.
This hardware store seems larger on inside than on the outside. The have lumber, tool and equipment rentals, and sell all types of handyman items for the do it yourself'er. They can also special order windows and doors and other other items for you. And can find local handymen to install them if needed.
Went to get some plumbing parts here and noticed the prices are triple of what rural kings prices are, the owner Bryan is a jerk. He's going to run his business straight into the ground treating customers so rudely. Drive to Lowe's or rural king its well worth the money you save than to come to this jerk owned hardware store.
