Probably the best broasted chicken I've ever had. Mashed potatoes were excellent as well. The staff was friendly and courteous. We arrived about 11:30 am for lunch and were seated immediately. We ordered our drinks which came promptly. The waiter was attentive throughout our stay, and he was energetic, telling us of the family restaurant history. Our meal was served hot and fresh. Overall, this was an exceptionally pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a great meal with a family atmosphere, this is it.
The fried walleye is the best I've ever had. All you can eat for 12.99! Service was reasonably fast. I expected to pay much more than I did for my family and I to eat here. Great food at even better prices. A new family favorite!

Great restaurant in Shelbyville. Great service. A restaurant that's not over priced and has great food. Food came in a good 15 minutes for fried chicken. Great restaurant.
