We had an excellent waitress. She promptly refilled our drinks after SHE asked us if we wanted a refill. Very attentive. Manager was very fast to come to our table when my wife's vegetables were cold. waitress promptly brought out hot vegetables along side the original ones. I finally got a large portion of roast beef instead of a skimpy portion at most other Cracker Barrel. I found out for the 1st time at any restaurant that for the hashbrown casserole they are supposed to be cheesy & not dried out & over cooked. Great Job !!!
The service was A+. Our waitress was amazing and took time explaining the dishes even though she had a full dining room. The manager stopped by our table to greet us, and he even got us some extra dumplings. If you like homestyle cooking and courtesy, this is your place.
Great sit down restaurant for old style home made type food, like granny used to make, ha. Great prices and good food, nice ole style interior, clean place, friendly staff and servers. Menu has a good selection of foods to choose from. Open most holidays too, for those weary travelers as these are all located near interstate exits. Country store inside selling ole time candies, clothes, and souvenirs.
Always great comfort food. I love that you can get breakfast all day long. Awesome and rustic antiques all over the dining area and always a real fire going in the stone fireplace. The country store is also great to get a bunch of candy you didn't think they still made anymore!
Sat by the fire on a cold winter's morning, the coffee and breakfast set my day off in a great direction. Good food, good atmosphere, quick and very easy to deal with. Thanks!
